M/A-COM, Inc. engaged Managed Communications Services, LLC to install & test the City of Oklahoma’s Mutual aid system upgrade. Oklahoma City currently operates a six (6) site, 14 channels and a seven (7) site, 18 channel 800 MHz EDACS (Enhanced Digital Access System) simulcast radio systems. Oklahoma City desires to improve interoperability in the region by upgrading their system with a five (5) site, multi frequency analog voted receive / transmit steered system. Each site in this system consists of five (5) VHF narrowband simplex frequencies, four (4) UHF narrowband frequencies, and five (5) 800 MHz frequencies.
